Gore Canyon is recognized as one of the most extreme commercially rafted sections in the United States.
This spectacular remote wilderness gorge is located near the headwaters of the mighty Colorado River. The
run begins as the Blue River, Muddy Creek and the mighty Colorado all come together and begin the
descent into this epic class V canyon. Gore is a deep and remote river gorge with heart pounding rapids. The large drops, numerous obstacles, and steep gradient make Gore Canyon the epidome of classic whitewater. Before entering the canyon paddlers will have an extensive safety talk, participate in a whitewater swimming lesson, and practice getting back in the boat on  their own. Gore is the ultimate whitewater experience. We are looking for individuals who are in great physical condition, who preferebly have paddling experience, and are at least fifteen years of age. Applicants cannot have a previous heart condition or a baby growing in their tummy. Once you run Gore Canyon you will want to share your experience with all your friends and family. That is why we offer a DVD compiled with still shots, video from shore, and helmet camera footage edited by profesionals and set to music. Check out our video section to get an idea of the quality documentation you will have of your expedition.
